What can Elo calculate?
Elo supports arithmetic and functions, plain-English operators, percentages, common units, currencies, dates, time zones, variables, totals, and several number formats. Try expressions such as “15% of 240,” “5 feet 3 inches in cm,” or “today + 4 weeks.”
Where are my notes saved on iOS?
Elo saves notes in its folder in iCloud Drive. Your Apple Account and iCloud settings control sync and availability across devices. If iCloud Drive is unavailable, Elo cannot open or save iCloud notes until access returns.
How do I delete a note?
Open the Files app, choose iCloud Drive, open the Elo folder, and delete the document there. It will be removed according to your iCloud settings, including Apple’s Recently Deleted behavior.
Why is a currency conversion unavailable?
Elo periodically downloads reference currency and cryptocurrency rates. If you are offline and no cached rate is available, currency conversion may be temporarily unavailable. Other calculations continue to work on device.
Does Elo send my calculations anywhere?
No. Calculation text and results are evaluated on your device. Elo’s rate update requests do not include your notes or expressions. See the privacy policy for the complete explanation.
Which file types does Elo use?
Elo opens and saves Markdown (.md), plain text (.txt), and Elo (.elo) documents. Markdown is the default so your notes stay readable outside the app.
